Project – Pierre and Marcy “Kitchen Reno”

This exceptional renovation has created an efficient new kitchen that completely changes this 1940’s home. The new finishes create a beautiful, open, functional and spacious kitchen!

Extensive plumbing, electrical, heating and insulation upgrades were necessary. Walls were removed and the floor was leveled.

Aged French finish on cherry cabinets with classic pulls and prestige maple boxes blend perfectly with the Canterbury-coloured Quartz countertop. A nice touch – the island’s display end features a chiseled edge countertop.

Gourmet appliances, Xenon under-cabinet lighting, origami glass door cabinets, pendant lighting and cork floors complete the kitchen, creating a stunning update to this seventy-year-old home.

Before and After Pictures

A back door to the patio was added. Walls and the stairwell to the basement were removed adding over 4-feet of width. At least 50% more cabinet and counterspace. The old peninsula was replaced by a huge island. Fridge was moved from back corner to a more functional location. Laundry pair was relocated and built in.

The new floorplan creates exceptional traffic patterns, multiple work spaces and makes this kitchen a homeowners dream.

A huge island with storage on all four sides and an under-counter microwave!

Custom coffee station, extensive rollouts, deep pantry, spice drawers, cooking oil shelves, plate drawers, and upper curio display cabinets along with a hall-tree, a wardrobe lift and ironing board slot in the laundry all enhance the enormous storage in this dramatically updated kitchen.
